General Information - Online Class

Students use an online classroom environment for the majority of assignments and lessons in my classes. The same usernames and passwords that are used in the computer lab work to log on to The course syllabus and other important information can be accessed on Engage. Students are able to log in to Engage from their home computers. This is useful for students who miss a day and students who need extra time to work on assignments.

MOS Certifications

Students are able to earn credentials as a Microsoft Office Specialist in this classroom. Students who earn the certification will receive a certificate and should list MOS certifications on their resume.

Other Credentials

There are a number of other credentials that students can earn while in this computer lab. The credentials are offered through an online course at These credentials include: Ignition - Digital Literacy, Venture - Entrepreneurship, and EverFi - Financial Literacy. A certificate of completion will be given to students who complete the online course.

Office 365

I encourage students to utilize the free cloud storage and Microsoft programs by logging in to Office 365. The same and password will work to log in to Office 365. This is a valuable resource that Mobile County students can access for free. It allows students to work on their files from any computer with an Internet connection. In addition, students can download free apps for Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and more on their tablets and/or cell phones and have the capability of logging into Office 365, so they can access their files anywhere, anytime.

It is important for students to know how to log into their INow accounts in order to keep up with their grades.

Student Email

All MCPSS students have an email they can use at school and at home. There is a link to log in on the school website's homepage. The same username and password will allow students to log in to email.
