I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in environmental science in 2003.  I decided that I wanted to become an educator and went back to school in 2013.  I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in Secondary Education.

I am new to education.  This is my first year teaching with the MCPSS.  I completed my practicum course work and student teaching in Chemistry at Baker High School during the 2016-2017 school year.  I am excited to be joining the MCPSS and hope to be a part of this system for the remainder of my career.  I previously worked as an environmental specialist with the Alabama Department of Public Health and the Florida Department of Public Health.  I also was employed by Gadsden City School System prior to moving to Mobile in 2015.  My family and I are happy to be living in Mobile and hope to make this our permanent home.

I love working in education and am excited to be teaching Earth Science and Marine Biology.  If you have any questions please contact me by phone or email.  I am happy to help in anyway I can.  I believe every student can learn and succeed!  I have included a link on this page for my teacher website, which includes information on my teaching and educational philosophy.
