Education
Ms. Fincher Gladen attended Corpus Christi Catholic School in Mobile, AL until 8th grade. She graduated from McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile and then attended the University of South Alabama. Ms. Fincher Gladen graduated with a Bachelor degree in Science Composite in Education in June 1994.

Experience

Ms. Fincher  Gladen has worked  five years at Dauphin Island Sea Lab assisting in teaching the Summer High School Marine Biology Classes. She lived in the dorms with the students while assisting with their month long classes, field trips and projects. She has also taught the Oceans Alive classes at the Sea Lab for young kids which teaches them seining, animal touch labs, and making models of sea creatures. Ms. Fincher has also taught the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Touch Labs at "Thursdays in Bienville" during the summer. She has also led her Marine Biology and Zoology students in sea creature presentations at Faith Academy for four years.



Bio

Mrs. Fincher Gladen has taught at Baker High School since September of 1994.  She is located in Room 221 and she teaches Zoology and Honors Marine Biology as well as Regular Marine Biology. Her Marine Biology classes set up and maintain aquariums around the school. Ms. Fincher married Mr. Johnathan Gladen (the most wonderful man in the world) on October 27, 2007. Together they enjoy swimming, kayaking and the ocean and beach.

In 1996 Mrs. Fincher  Gladen was awarded Alabama's Teacher of Promise award from the Alabama Science Teacher's Association (ASTA).
