I'm not what you would call a "traditional teacher". I pursued a degree in operational meteorology, and soon after entering the job market I realized that the mundane office atmosphere just was not for me. I caught wind of the Drexel program in Mobile County and jumped at the opportunity to transition into teaching. In 2006 I was hired at C.F. Vigor High School. I taught various sciences, including Physical Science, Physics, Earth/Space Science, Geology, and Meteorology during my four years at Vigor High School before transferring to Baker in 2010.

I enjoy teaching, and I especially enjoy sparking an interest in science with my students. I feel that mutual respect and an understanding of the needs of students and the problems they face is vital to being a successful teacher.

I have a passion for anything weather-related, and enjoy weather photography and storm chasing in my spare time.

Feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.
